President's Greeting

Dear Show-Me Chapter Members:

I am honored to serve as the 2010-2011 President of the Show-Me Chapter. I have been actively involved in the Show-Me Chapter for the last 10 years. During that time, we have worked to continuously improve our chapter. We have a terrific group of officers and directors this year and I’m looking forward to working with them and with you to make our chapter even better.

During our leadership training, we developed our strategic plan and set several goals for the upcoming year. Our focus is on increasing member involvement, improving communications and improving educational opportunities to name a few. In order to accomplish these goals, however, we will need your help.  It’s true that the best way to enhance your HFMA membership is to become more involved and to reinforce this, Debora Kuchka-Craig has chosen “Step Up” as the theme for her year as National Chair. That is my challenge to you as well - contribute to your chapter, make suggestions, join a committee, or help out at a conference – even if you can only spare a little of your time, I guarantee you will see the benefits.

So please, if you have suggestions, comments, or even complaints, let me know! Your feedback can only enhance our chapter, and our goal is to make your membership as beneficial as possible.
