President's Greeting

I am honored to serve as the 2011-2012 President of the Show-Me Chapter. We have continued to improve year over year and I am excited to say we ended the 2010-2011 year with four awards that we will be receiving during ANI in Orlando the last week of June.

Our goals are to continue to provide meaningful and relevant educational opportunities to you and we ask that you provide us with feedback and inform us of any topics that you feel would be beneficial to our members. As you can see our website has continued to be enhanced and is always a good place to start when searching for educational programs and different volunteer opportunities. Gregory Adams is the HFMA National Chair and the theme he has chosen for this year is “Believe to Achieve”, I think we all can understand the importance of this message with the changes that we are going to be experiencing over the foreseeable future, both in our local markets and across healthcare as a whole.

In closing, I would again like to thank you for your involvement in our chapter and encourage you to become involved and gain the most out of your HFMA membership!
